This Girl

This girl has her dad wrapped around her little finger. This girl loves her brothers. This girls favorite person is her Mom - always has been - hope it always is. This girl has blue eyes - everyone else has brown. This girl loves baby dolls. This girl loves to color. This girl loves Legos - even more then her brothers. I LOVE THIS GIRL!

 Derrick turned 7! I can not believe this little man is already 7 - next year his is going to be baptized - Crazy! This year was kind of hard because Daniel is in Idaho working with his Dad until he can find a job. Derrick was really sad that his Dad would not be here for his birthday, so I let him invite a couple of kids over to celebrate. We kept it really low key and only invited 3 kids over. They played a card game and played Lego Batman on the playstation. 

 We got him a Lego game - which turned out to be kind of hard so we brought it back. He is going to take all the money he has - almost $100.00 and buy Skylanders with it.

Unopened

I bought this hat on a site called groopdealz and I forgot to bring it with me when we went to North Idaho for Christmas. So it was a surprise waiting to be opened when we got home. I think this might be the only time it gets used anyways. Owen hated having it on and it was so hard to get a picture of him. I think it is a cute hat. I hope I am wrong and that this hate gets a lot of use.

Forts

The kids got in and did all their chores and I promised them that I would build them a fort. I built it behind the couch and they LOVED it. They got the pillows from the couch and I let them borrow my laptop and they watched movies after movie under there. I think they probably stayed up past 10:00pm!

Ice Cream

*Daniel was laid off in November and is working in Idaho until he can find a job back here in Utah. Me and the kids are in Eagle Mountain awaiting his return. 

Before Daniel left to go back to Idaho we had to try out the Christmas present he got me - an ice cream maker that attaches to my kitchen aid. 

I made a really simple ice cream,

1 Cup of Heavy Cream

1 Cup Whole Milk

1/3 Cup of Sugar

1 tablespoon Vanillia Extract

It turned out super yummy and I am excited to make more!
