Happy Easter

Happy Easter From the Clement Kids. 

I sure do love them.

I think that Easter might be my most favorite Holiday. I love that it is on Sunday's. It makes it a little more reverent and makes me reflect on what it means a little bit more. 

I am so grateful for the sacrifice that my savior made. I am so grateful for the sacrifice my Father in Heaven made - I could not imagine how hard it would be sending your son down to earth knowing all the pain and suffering he would have to endure.

I am grateful that because of the sacrifice that Christ made I have the chance to repent and return to my Father in Heaven. That my children also have that privileged. 

I know with all my heart that Christ lives. I know that he lived for me - that he loves me. I know that the gospel is true and by it we can find true happiness.

How grateful I am not only for the Saviors sacrifice but the sacrifices others made so I could be here today, have a family and be the mom to 3 amazing kids. Life is good. 

He Got's Nothing on Us!

Derrick would not go to bed. Thinking that he would get the best of us he asked if he could sleep outside. Daniel and I looked at each other then looked at him and said "sure". I got up and fixed him a little place on the porch - complete with pillow and blanket. I lead him out there and shut the door. I think that he was surprised that I actually followed through with it. I opened a couple of seconds later and he was in tears. He told me that he really did not want to sleep on the porch and that "he looks like an idiot". Were did that come from? - Goodness! I ushered him back in and talked to him about going to bed when he is suppose to and not trying to trick Mom or Dad. He said he was sorry and went right to bed.

I hope you all have a great weekend. We have nothing planned but staying home and vegging out. We are loving having Daniel home on Saturdays! It has been along time since he has had them off. We can't get enough of him!

If its Not One Things its Another

Poor Derrick - first it was headaches and now it is INFLUENZA. Luckily it is not bad - he has a temperature and body aches. They only thing that stinks is that he has so be quarantined in his room until his temperature breaks. He can come out but when he does he has to wear a face mask which he HATES. I feel bad that he is missing so much school, but hopefully we can have him better so that he can return by the end of this week or the beginning of next week. Until then we are doing a lot of snuggling on the couch and watching a lot of movies - and crossing our fingers and toes that no one else gets it. 

What I Do When Derrick's at School

 What do I do all day when Derrick is at school? Chasing these cuties! They sure do keep me on my toes. I was worried when Derrick started first grade that they would not know what to do with themselves. Derrick is really good about entertaining them and I was worried that they would get bored. I WAS WRONG! They seem to make messes every time I turn around and there are days when I think I will not be able to keep up with them. They are always raiding the fridge and I got a lock for it hoping that would help but in a matter of days they both new how to work it. 

I do love them and I am glad that they get along so well. I am hoping that they grow out of the mess making quickly!
