Flour Baby
Owen can walk... Actually he tries to run. It is pretty funny and cute to watch. Owen is a shrimp and does not look at all like he is 10 months old, more like six. Since he is so small, people are always starring at him with there mouth wide open and asking me how old he is. Having your baby take the first steps is a funny thing- at least for me. I am so proud of them and want them to succeed, yet I know what will happen when they start walking. All though encouraging, I did try to sit "O" Man down on his bottom so he would stop... IT DID NOT WORK.
Donnie Mac Trailer Park Cusine...
We went to a fun restaurant well we were in Boise. What made it even better? It was featured on Dinners, Drive in and Dives. ONE OF MY MOST FAVORITE SHOWS!! !
We had so much fun, listening the the guitar player- Riley and Derrick even got up and danced. Looking at the decorations-they had toilets as flower pots outside. The menu was even fun-you can order spaghettio's-which I am pretty sure I saw someone eating-right out of the can! The only thing was the benches-Van seats- they had wheels...My kids were sitting on the sets-need I say more!!
Enjoy the pictures, and if you ever go to Boise I would recommend stopping by and trying the Sweet Potato Fries!

I LOVE My Family,
Today was a no good, horrible, rotten, stressful, exhausting day... I am glad it is almost over. I am letting Derrick and Riley sleep on the couch and watch Gforce and Prince of Persia. Oh, I love Netflix on the Wii!
So now on the my weekly review with the TOP SEVEN!!
1. Paid off Derrick's ER trip.
2. Have money in saving again. GREAT feeling.
(Riley and Derrick snuggling in the same bed.)
3. Realized again what great parents I have. I know that a lot of people think this, but I have the best parents in the world. I am so glad my Heavenly Father sent me to them, and that they are mine forever. I have truly been blessed.
4. Derrick had his last dentist appointment! I am so glad he is done. 9 fillings and 1 crown. Last night, and he was playing with the "prize" he picked out, he started crying. I asked him what was wrong. He replied, "Today was my last dentist appointment, I don't get to pick out a toy anymore". Got to love kids.
(Derrick, feel alseep with his fingers in between his toes!)
5. My baby sister called telling me that she might come to visit for spring break. I am so EXCITED!!! I have missed her.
6. Got a GREAT text message today from one of my best friends. I am really excited!!! I can not wait to see her next week!
(Owen sleeping. He is my best sleeper.)
(Finally at last a kid that wants to sleep in his own bed!)
7. My dryer broke last night. SAD. Especially after spending A LOT of money on cloth diapers. Last night I went to bed feeling a little defeated. Then last night happened. Owen woke up five times, and Riley woke up at three with a temperature. My sweet husband went to the store at four to get some fever reducer. Rie did not fall asleep again until five. I think I got two hours of sleep last night....
This morning I woke up determined to fix the dryer. I made it worse. Then some other stuff happened, so I called my Dad crying to him about my rotten day. He listened. Then my husband came home. Then he left, to go and buy me a new dryer, so I could wash the cloth diapers. By this time I had a horrible headache (due to no sleep and not eating all day). Daniel said he would take Derrick with him. I then whined about my headache, and Riley being sick, and that he was going to leave me with her and the baby... He then offered to take the baby with him. SO he did. Then I called my Mom, and cried again about my horrible, no good, rotten day, and about my sweet husband. She listened. Then I got off the phone and snuggled up to Riley and took a nap. Then Daniel came home with the new dryer, and taco's for dinner. My headache disappeared. I told Daniel he was my hero. The END

SEVEN
1. I found the pictures Tasha took when she came up in December! Here are some of my favorites.
2. As, you read in the post below, Riley cut off her hair. I have been tempted to take her and get her ears pierced, so she does not look like a boy. Daniel told me no-so did my Mom. I hate the fact that she kind of-a lot- looks like a boy. Her name is not helping matters...
I have made her ware dresses or the color pink all week. I hope it grows back fast.

3. We did our taxes this week! As I was walking out the door to go to the grocery store, Derrick wanted to know where. "HIS, taxes where". He wanted to buy so Bakugans. I told him he is not old enough to get taxes back.
4. We are planning a trip to Boise for the middle of February!
5. Owen ( who can not take more than five-ten steps at a time), thinks he can run! As a result, he has had two black eyes in the last two weeks, and multiple bruises on his forehead. ALSO, he can stand up, in the middle of the floor without holding on to ANY THING! He is only just barley nine months old.

6. I talked to both my sisters and my Mom this week. I begged all of them to come and visit me. I even told my Mom I would buy her a plane ticket. I do not think anyone is going to take me up on my offer.
7. I am so glad it is finally Friday, and that Dan will be home for the weekend. Even if we are having a hard time, I am glad Daniel still has a job. Some money, is better then none. I am so glad that We have families that support us, and who want the best for us. Especially our parents. I am glad that we have both have parents who love us. I am glad for a Heavenly Father who listens to prayer and who answers them. For the comfort he brings to me when I am having a rotten day.

After, After, After...
Once upon a time, a mother left her scissors out for the third time. The first time, she tried as hard as she could to fix the mistake, it was not perfect but it would do. The second time, no one really could notice the mistake that had been made. The third time, STRIKE your OUT, is all that comes to mind...
The Before Picture
How cute is she, a new hair cut and pig tails...
After
Bangs got cut, but were fixed as best as could be. She still is in pig tails!...
After, After picture
There actually is no picture since, it was only a small chunk in the middle of her forehead, which was not that bad...
Last and hopefully the least...
The After, After, AFTER picture's
Taken tonight, after Rie was tucked into bed, so not the best of pictures but you will get the point.
I feel so guilty that she got a hold of the scissors for a THIRD time. I had been doing a project in my bedroom, and left the scissors down on the desk. I have no idea how long she was in there chopping away. I was in the living room watching the new Hallmark movie. She came running in saying, "Mommy, I cut my hair!" My jaw hit the floor. I grabbed her little face, looked into her eyes and said, "Why, Riley?" Then I buried my face into a pillow and started bawling like a baby. Daniel took her away scolding her and searching for those awful scissors. Then he made her look in the mirror, showing she had cut all her beautiful hair off. She cried and cried. Dan then asked if she was ever going to cut her hair again, she looked at him with her chubby tear stained checks and said, "No, Daddy."
I called my Mom, telling her to facetime me(something you can do on the ipod, or iphone), so she could see what had just taken place. At first she could not understand anything I was saying. I think I was having a nervous breakdown. I was laughing, crying and screaming all at once (not really screaming, but almost). My poor Mom. I think she thought Riley had cut her head off. She kept saying to me over and over, "Heather, hand the phone to Daniel". Each time her voice got louder, with more panic. Finally I calmed down enough to tell her what happened. I then told her to laugh, because I really needed to find the humor in it. So she let it all out, (I think she had been holding it in to spear hurting my feelings). She laughed so hard she started coughing. I of course laughed to, saying I did not think I could ever look at my poor baby girl again.
This time, I could not "pretend" to save her hair. I had to take her to get her hair cut at a beauty salon. The only solution was to cut her hair really short. I did not want her to have a mullet. I am so sad that we can not put pig tails in her hair anymore...
I now I put an end to my grateful post, but I just want to say I am grateful for laughter.
I did cry, she is my only girl, give me a break.
But, I laughed to. I think it is important to laugh. Life is so much easier, when you find the humor in things.
I grew up, with my mother saying all the time, "Heavenly Father must have a sense of humor".
I have heard other people say that too. I believe he does!
Life at times is stressful enough, I don't want to sweat the small stuff. I want to laugh instead. It is easier on the heart!
